When we lose a loved one, one way to remember them and honour their life, is by making a Memorial Donation to Saint Luke's Place Foundation. For memorial donations, receipts are issued to the donor, and an acknowledgement of your donation will be forwarded to the immediate family. Names of individuals being remembered are listed in our Community Connections Newsletter.
Honour Donations can be made to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special event.
An acknowledgement of your donation will be forwarded to the honoured individual(s) through a special card.
Special Projects or items are needed from time to time and you may wish to designate your donation to this. Sometimes individuals have ideas of something specific that they wish their designated donation to go towards. To ensure prudent use of donor's funds, management reviews all ideas. A receipt stating the value of the designated donation will be required for income tax receipt purposes.
Special Projects or items are needed from time to time and you may wish to donate Gifts In Kind. Sometimes individuals have ideas of something specific that they wish donate to Saint Luke's Place. To ensure prudent use of donor's Gifts in Kind donations, Management reviews all offers prior to acceptance. A receipt stating the value of the gift-in-kind will be required for income tax receipt purposes.
Please consider making a donation at Christmas time to our annual Tree of Memories Campaign. Donors are also encouraged to hang a tree tag in memory or honour of someone special on our Tree of Memories located in the Administration Lounge.
Please consider planting a seed for Saint Luke's Place, by making a donation to the Annual Plant A Seed Campaign which runs from April until June.
Saint Luke's Place Foundation has a Planned Giving Committee that meets on a regular basis. Committee members are experts in the fields of law, accounting, estate planning and insurance. Please consider giving a Planned Gift to the Saint Luke's Place Foundation by remembering Saint Luke's Place in Your Will, using Life Insurance to support Saint Luke's Place, or through charitable annuities, a gift of property, or charitable remainder trusts. Individuals give of their time by becoming involved in the Foundation Board of Directors, by helping out at special events, by helping to sell items on behalf of the Foundation, or by remembering Saint Luke's Place Foundation in their prayers.
