Why Donate?
Your gift can make a practical and lasting difference in your life and those of others. By donating you make a direct impact on the ongoing work at Saint Luke's Place. Also, your legacy can allow for life-changing gifts for the future needs of your family and your community.
How can a charitable gift benefit my family?
Including a gift to charity in your will could be of real benefit to your family. They will benefit by receiving a charitable tax receipt for the estate gift. This will help offset tax payable on the estate and ease the tax burden. You should consult with your financial advisor, accountant or attorney to learn how giving may actually benefit your family after you're gone.
What are some of the development projects the Foundation has supported?
Through the generosity of our donors, Saint Luke's Place Foundation has been able to raise funds to enhance the quality of life of our residents and tenants. Since the inception of the Foundation in 1992, numerous key pieces of equipment have been purchased and extensive renovations completed. In response to the need for immediate communication throughout the facility, an Emergency Voice Call System was installed. In 2006 a new and larger van was purchased to take residents and tenants on excursions, day trips and medical appointments. To view more projects that have dramatically made a difference in the lives of the seniors at Saint Luke's Place, please refer to the section, "Projects we've funded".
